Japanese Garden Festival at Willowwood

Discover the beauty of Japanese gardens with Japanese Garden Builder, Asher Browne, who will present the concepts, principals and elements that compose a Japanese Garden. Iced green tea and mochi ice cream will be served after his lecture.

At 2:45 pm Enjoy a demonstration of Ikebana flower design with Toshio Okimatsu, President of the Ikebono NY Tachibana Chapter, and who will discuss this 500 year old art.

Afterward, Visit with The Great Swamp Bonsai Society to understand the ancient traditions and techniques of the art of Bonsai.

Experience a tour of the Woodland Walk.
